Atelier Rani

Atelier Rani designs coats, shirts and occasionwear that move between a Monday in London and a wedding in Leicester. The studio sits above a fabric shop; most samples never leave the building until a client tries them on.

The story

Rani Kapoor left a high-street design job to make fewer, better garments. Her first collection was shown in a Brick Lane courtyard to forty people; three of those coats are still in production.
