Silk & Loom is a Jewellery Quarter studio making jackets, lehengas and everyday tailoring from silks, khadi and deadstock British wool. Appointments are unhurried; most pieces start with a conversation about a wedding, a new job, or a parent’s cupboard.
The story
Sisters Priya and Meera Shah trained in London then came home to Birmingham to work closer to the city’s fabric suppliers and the families who still dress for big days properly.
