Kōri Atelier pours Japanese-inspired iced coffees, hojicha and small plates in a former print works. The name means ice — and the bar is built around a single slow-drip tower and a granite counter that stays cold even in July.
The story
Founder Kenji Mori spent a decade in London coffee before moving to Digbeth to build a quieter, colder room. The food is British produce treated with Japanese technique, not a facsimile of Tokyo.
