Mandala Kitchen is a neighbourhood café in Moseley serving South Indian breakfasts, lunch thalis and cardamom bakes. The room is small, bright and usually full by noon — the kind of place regulars treat as a second dining table.
The story
Ananya Rao opened Mandala after years of cooking for friends from a terraced kitchen. The café is named after the rangoli her grandmother drew on festival mornings, and the menu still starts with that same sambar.
